NFEM conducts blood-letting activity
Panacan, Davao City (18 October) -- The Naval Forces Eastern Mindanao initiated a blood-letting activity attended by ROTC students from different colleges in Davao and some AFP personnel at the Camp Panacan Grand Stand, last October 15, Sunday.
The activity initiated by Commodore Ferdinand S Golez, accumulated 11,500cc of fresh blood from 23 soldiers of NFEM and students from Holy Cross of Davao College, AGRO Industrial Foundation College, Mindanao Aeronautical Technology School and Davao Merchant Academy College of Southern Philippines.
The activity was assisted by the Philippine National Red Cross Davao Chapter and Panacan Station hospital led by LTC Teresita Machitar PN.
This activity exemplifies the efforts of AFP as protectors of Filipino lives, not only as combat men who are fighting for democracy but also as compassionate soldiers sharing the essential element of life to the needy. (5th CRG News/PIA XI) [top]
