Congress on competitiveness unfolds in Central Philippines

Cebu City (18 October) -- In its quest to help realize Pres. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s goal of making Filipino products and human resources meet if not exceed world quality standards, the Philippines Quality and Productivity Movement of the Visayas (PQPM-Visayas) will hold the 9th Regional Congress in support of the theme “Competitiveness in Central Philippines: Beyond Boundaries” on October 19-20, 2006 at the Parklane Hotel, Cebu City.

The said congress is is made possible with the assistance of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). The two-day Regional Congress will bring together distinguished guests and speakers from the different sectors of the industry, the government and academe in Central Philippines.

The congress will showcase cutting edge quality and productivity concepts and practices exemplified and shared by speakers who are trailblazers in their own field.
