NVizcaya police gears for All Saints', Souls' Day security
BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (25 October) -- Police authorities here are conducting inspections within cemeteries in the province as part of their security preparations for the coming All Saints' and All Souls' day observance.
P/Supt. Ceasar Javier, police provincial director said they have drafted security plans for the divided north and south districts of the province.
Under the plan, a 'walk through' inspection will be conducted this week to assess the preparations of various police stations in terms of traffic and security aspects.
"Definitely we will be detailing policemen in entrance and exit points of cemeteries in the province to provide security and assist in managing traffic," Javier told PIA.
Javier said they have also coordinated with radio communication groups to assist during the all saints', souls' observance and barangay tanods to beef up police presence in cemeteries.
He also urged commuters and vacationists to be vigilant in their communities to prevent any untoward incidents that may happen during the holiday season. (PIA-NVizcaya) [top]
