Davao City (28 October) -- Series of National Youth Day delegates are being conducted.
Holy Cross of Davao College-Sta. Ana (LOC 2) Asst. Head, Arnold Balaquinto facilitated the Orientation activity for the Davao delegates last October 21.
Balaquito said that there are more than 300 delegates in LOC 2 Catechetical sites (Csite).
"It is not easy to prepare because meetings are many to consistently monitor the activities.
The HCDC-Sta. Ana Catechetical site is composed of the following parishes: Our Lady of Fatima, Sta. Ana Shrine, San Antonio de Padua, San Pedro Cathedral, St. Jude Thaddeus and Our Lady of the Assumption.
The orientation helped the delegates to be aware of the "Do's" and the "Dont's" of the said event.
STI volunteers - NYD committee tandem
It takes two to tango. The National Youth Day Secretariat goes with the computer age- of facilitating a faster way for registration and accommodation.
The STI College Davao is giving 45 students to volunteers to assist in the computerized registration during the National Youth Day on November 8-12, 2006 here.
STI Coordinator Ms. Mary Grace Garcia said that these students will be divided into 19 parishes.
She added that there are five facilitators from STI including an STI Instructor, Mr. Patrick Ryan Lee who will facilitate and who will check the work of their students during the registration.
The system was already tested last October 21 during the First-Day Dry Run Activity held at San Pedro Cathedral. (PIA XI/RG Alama) [top]
