Tagalog News: 332 pinaghihinalaang street criminals arestado ng PNP

Koronadal, South Cotabato (31 October) -- Ayon kay Philippine National Police (PNP) Director General Oscar Calderon, mahigit sa 300 suspetsadong mga street criminals ang inaresto ng PNP sa kasagsagan ng operasyon nito kamakailan.

Ayon kay National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director Reynaldo Varilla, ang pagkakaaresto ng mahigit sa 300 personalidad na pinaghihinalaang mga street criminals ay bahagi ng 'preemptive move' ng PNP para mapababa ang mga kaso ng iba't-ibang uri ng krimen, katulad dito ang cellphone snatching at robberies at iba pa, lalung-lalo na ngayong All Souls' at All Saints Day.

Inihayag din ni Varilla na ang NCRPO ay nakatala rin ng mataas na crime solution efficiency rating na 95% o nakaresolba ng abot sa 3,628 na kaso mula sa 3,827 na mga kaso na iniulat ng awtoridad.

Ayon pa rin kay Varilla, ang walang tigil na 'Night Watch' Operation ng PNP ay magpapatuloy, lalung-lalo na sa mga darating na mga holiday period hanggang sa Christmas season.

Dagdag pa ni Varilla, inutusan nya na rin ang lahat ng mga district directors na higpitan pa ang police visibility sa kani-kanilang mga distrito. (PIA 12) [top]
