GenSan grants financial aid to Comdev, Strambi
General Santos City (31 October) -- Another two organizations which registered with the city here as non-governmental organizations (NGOs) add to the list of the beneficiaries granted financial assistance by local government here. They are the Community Health and Development Incorporated or Comdev, and the St. Vincent Strambi Foundation Incorporated.
Comdev recently entered into a joint effort with the city government on Anti Poverty Program dubbed Poverty Based Agenda: People Empowerment for Transformation or PBA's PET. Meanwhile, Strambi is availed financial assistance for its charitable endeavors. The organization has been involved in availing to the aged and other charitable social activities.
Strambi is availed P176, 000, 00. Comdev is availed undistinguished amount. The financial grants are manifested in resolutions 355 and 360 for Comdev and Strambi respectively, all of which are approved on the SP's 114th regular session specifically on September 14, 2006, here.
