GenSan SP approves 20 projects

General Santos City (31 October) -- Twenty projects involving a number of barangays here and government offices were recently nodded approval by the Sanggunian Panlungsod, nineteen of which altogether acceded on SP's 115th regular session and one on the 114th, all of which were held on September of 2006.

The nineteen projects altogether approved on September 21, 2006 were the repair and improvement of barangay health station at purok eleven of barangay Katangawan (P28,000); the repair and improvement of barangay day care center at purok10 also of barangay Katangawan (P52,200); the construction of drainage outfall at Bulaong Terminal (P1M);

The construction of the extension office of the Bureau of internal Revenue (BIR) building (P270,000); the construction of two classroom school building for Labangal National High School Annex at barangay Upper Labay (P800,000); the installation of water system-submersible pump and pipeline at purok Cabuay barangay Sinawal (P215,998); the land improvement and beatification of center island along Pioneer Avenue (P500,000); the completion of city library building (P2,500); the concreting of Biateles street from Nuestra Senora dela Paz street to Magsaysay Avenue (P2,200,000); the construction of satellite integrated terminal and public market building (partial) at purok 18 barangay Fatima (P2,500,000); the construction of drainage outlet-17 from intersection of Acharon Boulevard and Saging street to Sarangani Bay (P718,000); the construction of two classroom school building at A.G. Busano National High School of barangay Conel (P800,000).

The construction of extension building (partial) at the City Assessors Office (P1M); the completion of drainage along Quirino Avenue, barangay Dadiangas East (P1,600,000); the renovation of Acharon Village Day Care Center at barangay Calumpang (P184,000); the renovation of health center at Balite, barangay Lagao (P210,000), and the repair and maintenance of office building of the birds and awards committee a the City Hall (no identified amount).

On same date (Sept. 21, 2006), the SP also approved two supplemental budget for fiscal year 2006 for barangay Conel (P153,392.59) and barangay Tinagacan (P15,600).

On its 114th regular session, held Sept. 14, 2006, the SP also approved the P150,000 for the construction of drainage system at zone 5 of barangay Bula, this city.

These twenty project expenditures were contained in 20 resolutions, specifically resolutions numbers 354, 363, 364, 365, 366, 368, 369, 370, 371, 372, 373, 374, 375, 376, 377, 378, 379, 380, 381, and 382, all series of September 2006. (Luzvimi/PIA Sargen) [top]
