GenSan youth sing about city governance

General Santos City (31 October) -- The city's present administration "active and operative governance" is said to be reflected in the rendition of the song "Diri ta sa Gensan" by the youthful talents such as Sabrina Augustine Haw, writer and singer of said song, and rappers Richy Mulders Castro and Bryan Andrade, all of whom performed the song during this years Tuna Celebration here.

"(This) Sanggunian is very much delighted to note the successful performance of the song "Diri ta sa Gensan" composed by Ms. Sabrina Augustine Haw which she herself performed along with rappers Mr. Richy Multers Castro and Mr. Bryan Andrade during this years Tuna Festival Celebration", SP resolution 357 noted in its opening paragraph.

"(Such) creative, jolly, and melodiously fresh rendition of the song did not only showcase youthful talents dedicated to the city's booming stance, but also appropriately described the city's dynamism in terms of economy and socio-cultural life, thereby reflecting the present administration's active and operative governance", the resolution quipped.

Resolution 357 series of September 2006 was passed and approved through joint sponsorship. (Luzvimi/PIA Sargen) [top]
