Tagalog News: Koronadal City, pinarangalan bilang "Most Business-Friendly City"

Koronadal City (31 October) -- Pinarangalan na naman bilang "Most Business-Friendly City" sa buong Mindanao ang lungsod ng Koronadal para sa taong 2006. Ang parangal ay una nang tinanggap ng lungsod noong nakaraang taon.

Malaking kasiyahan ang ipinakita ni Koronadal City mayor Fernando Q. Miguel sa nasabing parangal, na naging salamin umano ng isang taon nitong pagsusumikap, tiyaga at determinasyon upang mapasama sa investment map hindi lamang sa Mindanao kundi pati na rin sa buong bansa ang Koronadal na naging lungsod anim na taon pa lamang.

Ipinangako ni mayor Miguel na lalo pa nitong pagsisikapan sa tulong ng bawat sector ng komunidad ang pagpapalago ng lungsod na nauna na ring pinarangalan bilang "Most Competitive City" ng Asian Institute of Management noong 2003.

Ang parangal bilang Most Business-Friendly City ay ipinagkakaloob ng Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) bilang pagkilala sa commitment para sa innovation at best practices ng mga local government units sa buong bansa. Ito'y naglalayon ding hikayatin ang mga LGUs na maging role models sa trade & investments at good governance. (ac agad PIA 12) [top]
