Tagalog News: Cotabateņos ikinagalak ang pagtalaga ni PGMA kay Cotabato First Lady Sema bilang UNESCO commissioner

Koronadal City (3 November) -- Ikinatuwa ng mga residente ng Cotabato City ang pagtalaga ni Pangulong Arroyo kay city First Lady Bai Sandra Sema bilang bagong Commissioner ng United Nations Educational and Scientific Commission (UNESCO).

Isa umanong malaking pagkakataon para sa mga Cotabateņos ang mabigyan ng ganitong responsibilidad kung kayat buong suporta ang ibinibigay nila kay Sema. Marami rin ang umaasang magagampanan ni Sema ang nasabing katungkulan upang maisulong ang mga programang pang-edukasyon sa ating bansa lalung-lalo na sa Mindanao.

Si Sema, maybahay ni Cotabato City mayor Muslimin Sema at kasalukuyan ding chairperson ng City Tourism Council ay uupo sa UNESCO bilang miyembro ng Committee on Education. Bitbit ni Sema ang kanyang expertise at experience bilang former regional secretary ng Department of Education sa Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. (ac agad PIA 12) [top]
