Tagalog News: Mga legislators sumang-ayon sa pagpasa ng panukalang batas bago mag Christmas break

Koronadal, South Cotabato (8 November) -- Ipinahayag ni Presidential Political Adviser Gabriel Claudio ang pangako ng 2 kapulungan na ipasa ang dalawang mahahalagang panukalang batas; ang biofuel bill at ang automated election bill bago mag-umpisa ang December break. Ito'y kasunod sa ginanap na Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (LEAC) meeting na ginanap sa palasyo kamakailan.

May dalawang (2) batas din ang umanoy lalagdaan ng Pangulong Arroyo: ang pagbura ng 70% cap sa input ng Value Added Tax at paglikha ng posisyong First Chief Master Sergeant. May tatlo (3) naming iba pang batas ang nakabinbin sa bicameral conference committee: ang kompensasyon sa mga human rights violations ng dating rehimeng Marcos, ang redifiniton ng term na "veteran", prescribing a fixed term para sa chief of staff at ng major service commanders ng Armed Forces of the Philippines.

Dagdag pa ni Claudio, may walo (8) pang nakabinbing "certified urgent" na mga panukalang batas ang kailangang maaprubahan ng isa sa dalawang kapulungan sa madaling panahon. (ajph/PIA 12) [top]
