Tagalog News: Loans at debts notes ng bansa binayaran ng BSP

Koronadal, South Cotabato (10 November) -- Ang patuloy na pagtaas ng Gross International Reserves (GIR) ay naging daan upang bayaran ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) ang $446 million na loans at debt notes ng bansa noong nakaraang buwan bago pa man umabot ang 2007 at 2009 maturity dates.

Ang (GIR), kasama ng gross foreign currency holdings ng BSP, gold reserves, special Drawing Rights currency ng International Monetary Fund, ay mga indikasyon at makapagpatunay na ang Pilipinas ay may kakayahang magbayad ng mga imports at foreign debts nito.

Ang nasabing pagtaas ng foreign exchange reserves ngayon taon ay sinuportahan ng pondo mula sa foreign borrowing ng pamahalaan, cash remittances ng mga OFWs, at foreign portfolio investment. (Lgt/PIA 12) [top]
