Tagalog News: Walang OFW ban sa Taiwan – Brion

Koronadal, South Cotabato (13 November) -- Pinabula-anan ni Labor Secretary Arturo Brion ang pagbabawal ng bansang Taiwan sa mga Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) kasunod ng pagpapatawag ng isang inter-government meeting para pag-usapan ang problema sa false documents.

Tumungo naman kamakailan sa Taiwan sina Secretary Brion at Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) Administrator Rosalinda Baldoz upang pag-usapan at ayusin ang mga negatibong impact kaugnay pagpapalsipika ng mga employment documents.

Kasabay nito, kinumpirma din ng Taiwan’s Council Labor of Affairs (CLA) ang nasabing pag ban sa mga Overseas Filipino Workers ng bansang Taiwan ay walang katotohanan at “pure fabrication” lamang.

Inaasahan din na kapag maisaayos na ang pag validate at pagberipika ng system, aasahang tataas pa sa 92,000 level ang employment ng mga OFW hindi lang sa technology sector kundi pati na rin sa agricultural sectors ng bansang Taiwan. (ajph/PIA) [top]
