Tagalog News: September remittances tumaas sa 7.6%

Koronadal, South Cotabato (16 November) -- Tumaas ng hanggang walong porsyento ang perang pinapadala ng mga OFWs sa ating bansa sa buwan ng Setyembre mula sa nakaraang taon

Ayon sa Bangko Sentral, nakapagpadala ang OFWs ng $1.014 bilyon sa buwan ng Setyembre sa pamamagitan ng official channel. At ang kabuuang total ng unang siyam na buwan ay umabot sa $9.11 billion, na tumaas ng 14.4 percent mula sa magkaparehong panahon.

Minomonitor din ng Bangko Sentral ang inflows para sa anumang inflationary impact pagkatapos tumaas ang supply ng pera ng ating bansa sa buwan ng Setyembre sa 14.5 percent mula sa mga nakalipas na buwan.

Dagdag pa ng Bangko Sentral, ang remittances na binabalik sa banko ay inaasahang aabot sa $11.87 bilyon ngayong taon, na hihigitan pa nito ang record ng nakaraang taon na $10.7 billion dollar, katumbas ng halos 10 percent ng gross domestic product. (CGI/PIA 12) [top]
