Tagalog News: PGMA, 20 iba pang ASPAC leaders nagpulong sa APEC Summit

Koronadal, South Cotabato (20 November) -- Naging paksa ang "Towards a Dynamic Community for Sustainable Development and Prosperity" sa Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit kamakailan na ginanap sa National Convention Center (NCC) Hanoi My Dinh District sa Vietnam.

Ang APEC Summit ay isang pagpupulong ng 21 economies para pag-usapan ang pagsulong ng ekonomiya, pagpapatibay ng samahan, at ang pagtaguyod ng kalakal at pamumuhunan sa rehiyon ng Asya Pasipiko.

Pinag-usapan din sa nasabing pagpupulong ang pagpapatuloy sa usapin kaugnay sa Doha Round ng World Trade Organization (WTO) negotiations na nabinbin kamakailan pagkatapos ng hindi pagsang-ayon sa tariff at mga tungkulin nito.

Ang bansang kabilang sa APEC Summit ay Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Chile, People's Repblic of China, Hongkong, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New zealand, Papua New Ginea, Peru, Russia, Singapore, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, United States, Vietnam, at ng Pilipinas.
