Tagalog News: Mga opisyal na sangkot sa bigong kudeta haharap sa court martial

Koronadal, South Cotabato (21 November) -- Inihayag ni Armed Forces Chief Hermogenes Esperon na may 30 opisyal (25 Scout rangers at 13 marines) na sangkot sa sa bigong kudeta noong Pebrero ang haharap sa court martial. Kaugnay nito may 8 sa 38 opisyal ang hindi nakitaan ng matibay na ebidensiya kung kaya't na pa walang sala na ibabalik na sa kanilang operasyon.

Ayon kay Armed Forces Spokesperson Lietenant Colonel Bartolome Bacarro, si Ex-marine commandant Major General Renato Miranda ang may pinakamataas na rango sa opisyal ng militar na haharap sa court martial kaugnay sa kasong mutiny.

Haharap naman ang 30 opisyal sa kasong umanoy paglabag sa Article of War 63, 65,67,96, at 97 na nagsaad ng respeto at disiplina sa nakatataas lalo na sa pangulo at buong hukbong sandatahan.

Ayon pa kay Esperon maaaring reclusion perpetua o habang buhay na pagkakakulong ang magiging kaparusahan sa 30 opisyal na kasabwat sa nangyaring pag-aalsa. (ajph/PIA 12) [top]
