Tagalog News: Truck sinunog ng NPA

Koronadal, South Cotabato (23 November) -- Sinunog kamakailan ng mga suspetsadong New People's Army (NPA) ang isang sasakyan sa Mawab, probinsiya ng Compostela Valley.

Ayon kay Major Jose Cuerpo, chief ng Civil Relations Group (CRG) ng militar sa Southern Mindanao, na ang nasabing truck na minamaneho ng nagngagalang Jojo Lanaban ay hinarang ng rebeldeng NPA sa isolated potion ng highway sa Barangay Tagmanok.

Aniya, sinunog ng rebelde ang naturang truck ng ang may-ari ng nasabing sasakyan ay hindi nakapagbayad ng revolutionary tax sa NPA.

Ang may 1,700 na NPA ay nangungulekta ng pera mula sa mga businessmen na nag-ooperate sa loob ng kanilang teritoryo.

Kamakailan lang, sinunog din ng nasabing rebelde ang mga telecommunications facilities ng Globe Telecom sa Panabo City. (PIA 12) [top]
