Tagalog News: Filipino cuisine ihahanda para sa 12th ASEAN Summit

Koronadal, South Cotabato (27 November) -- Pagkaing Fipino na may ibat-ibat regional flavors malalasap ng mga delegado, foreign at local journalists, sa darating na 12th Association of Southeast Asian Nations sa December 11-13 sa Cebu City.

Ang Via Mare, isang Manila based catering service ang napili upang maghanda ng pagkain sa naturang summit kung saan ibat-ibang variety ng Filipino dishes ang ihahain kabilang ang native delicacies upang itaguyod ang mga food products ng bansa.

Ayon kay Diane Rosales, operations Manager ng Via Mare, Filipino menu ang kanilang ihahanda upang maranasan ng mga delegado at mga foreign media ang "real taste" ng Filipino dishes. At bilang pagkilalang sa 10 ASEAN member nations ay Muslims, ang kanilang isisilbing pagkain ay walang halong karneng baboy at "halal" foods.

Ngunit, kung may hihiling ng famous Cebu lechon, sila ay gagawa ng arrangements para sa kanila, dagdag pa ni Rosales.

Ang lahat ng mga pagkain ay lalagyang ng label na may kasamang description ng sa gayon ay malalaman nila kung ano ang kanilang kinakain, pahayag ni Rosales. (EZN/PIA 12) [top]
