Tagalog News: PNP bubuo ng grupo upang tanggalin ang mga private armies

Manila (13 March) -- Bubuo ang Philippine National Police (PNP) ng bagong grupo upang tanggalin ang mga private armies na maaaring gamitin ng mga pulitiko sa nalalapit na eleksiyon sa Mayo.

Inihayag ni Police Director Wilfredo Garcia, chief ng Directorate for Operations, ang Task Force Anti-Private Armed Groups (APAGs) ay binubuo ng Criminal Investigation and Detection group (CIDG), Intelligence Group (IG) at Special Action Force (SAF).

Ayon pa kay Garcia, ang naturang task force ay patuloy sa kanyang operasyon kahit tapos na ang eleksiyon.

Ang CIDG at IG ang magsasampa ng kaso laban sa mga private armed groups kasama na ang kanyang mga lider habang ang SAF naman ay magsisilbing arresting officer kapag napalabas na ang warrant of arrest, dagdag pa ni Garcia. (anp/PIA 12) [top]
