Tagalog News: PGMA ipinag-utos ang pagpapalawak ng microfinance funds para sa mga kababaihan

Manila (13 March) -- Ipinag-utos na ni Pangulong Gloria Macapagal Arroyo sa mga concerned government agencies na makiisa sa mga kooperatiba at non-government organizations upang makapagkaloob ng malawak na microfinance funds sa mga kababaihan.

Ipinag-utos na rin ni Pangulong Arroyo sa Philippine Credit and Finance Corporation na maghanda ng microfinance sa mga kababaihang kawani ng pamahalaan sa pamamagitan ng mga kooperatiba ng government agencies bilang mga conduits.

Kaugnay nito, matapos na malaman na walang access ang karamihan sa kababaihang government employees sa microfinance, inihayag agad nito ang pagbibigay ng P1000 bilang additional allowance.

Binigyang diin muli ni Pangulong Arroyo kasabay ng magandang stock market at malakas na piso, patuloy pa rin nitong binibigyang pansin ang ekonomiya upang maipagpatuloy ang political stability ng bansa. (ajph/PIA 12) [top]
