Tagalog News: 2nd National Gov't Infrastructure Forum gaganapin sa Makati City

Manila (4 May) -- Ang 2nd National Government Forum ay gaganapin sa Quezon Ballroom Shangri-La Hotel ng Makati City kung saan tatalakayin ang tungkol sa infrastructure program ng pamahalaan at kung paano hihikayatin ang mga pribadong sector at business community na lumahok sa nasabing programa.

Inihayag naman ni Infrastructure Monitoring Task Force (IMTF) at Presidential Management Staff Head Cerge Remonde sa isang press statement na kasali sa tatalakayin sa gaganaping forum ay ang pagsisikap ng pamahalaang magkaroon ng magandang infrastructure na siyang magpapanunlad at magpapalawak sa ekonomiya ng bansa.

Dagdag pa ni Remonde, simula ng magkaroon ng infrastructure forum na ginanap noong Oktubre ng nakaraang taon, nakapagpatayo ang pamahalaan ng tatlong malalaking proyekto na kinabibilangan ng Maasin Port sa Southern Leyte, Lucena Port sa Quezon at ang New Iloilo Airport development project.

Maliban kay Remonde, dadalo rin sa nasabing forum sina Luzon Urban Beltway champion Edgardo Pamintuan, Agriculture Secretary Arthur Yap, Tourism Secretary Joseph Durano, at Presidential Adviser on Peace Process Jesus Dureza.

Ang magiging tagapagsalita naman ay sina Honorary Consul General Washington Sycip, Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Donald Dee at nited States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission Director Jon Lindborg. (Lgt/PIA 12)

POEA bares openings for cooks, tutors in Azerbaijan

Bacolod City (4 May) -- The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population in the Republic of Azerbaijan is looking for cooks and tutors.

Qualifications for cook are male or female, at least 40-45 years old with two years relevant experience including specialization in seafood preparation. At least High School graduate and good communication skills in English. Salary is negotiable depending on qualification. Contract duration lasts five years.

For tutor requirements, female; college graduate, 30-35 years old with at least two years relevant experience. Good communication skills in English, written and oral. Have a basic knowledge in medicine/first aid and general housekeeping. The salary is negotiable depending on qualification and the contract duration is five years.
