Tagalog News: Kaso ng dengue fever tumaas

Manila (5 October) -- Muling pinaaalahanan ang mamamayan sa pagpapanatili ng 4 o'clock habit upang maiwasan ang paglaganap ng mga mosquito-borne diseases sa pamayanan.

Batay sa ulat ng Department of Health (DOH) mayroon ng mahigit sa apat na libong kaso ng dengue ang naitala sa bansa mula pa noong buwan ng Setyembre.

Ayon kay National Epidemiology Center Head Dr. Eric Tayag inaasahan pa ang pagtaas ng kaso ng dengue ngayong Oktubre bunsod ng wet season.

Kaugnay nito, hinihikayat ng mga concerned agencies sa pangunguna ng Health department ang bawat isa na panatilihing malinis ang kapaligiran, lalo na ang mga alolod ng bahay at ang mga maaaring magiing breeding places ng mga lamok tulad ng mga unused gallon, mga lumang goma, at mga stagnant water sa komunidad.
