Tagalog News: PNP-ACER nagsagawa ng security seminars

Manila (10 October) -- Mahigit sa isang daang (100) community security awareness seminars ang isinagawa sa pangunguna ng Police Anti-Crime and Emergency Response (PACER) team sa unang anim na buwan ng taon upang tugunan at masawata ang mga sindikatong kidnap-for-ransom groups.

Ang security seminars ay bahagi ng anti-kidnapping campaign ng pamahalaan at naglalayong mabigyan ng kaalaman ang mamamayan lalo na sa kahalagahan ng "vigilance" sa anumang kidnapping-related crimes.

Kabilang din sa seminars, nagsagawa rin ang Philippine National Police (PNP) ng dalawampu't dalawang (22) Police Information and Continuing Education Seminars upang ipaalam sa mga PACER personnel ang mga issues at concerns at ang pinakabagong pamamaraan at stratehiya na ginagamit ng mga kidnappers sa kanilang operasyon.

Bilang bahagi ng Education for Prevention strategy ng PNP, naglalayon din ang naturang seminar na tulungan ang mga operatiba sa pagsugpo ng mga kidnap-for-ransom gangs. (PIA 12) [top]
