Tagalog News: Kidapawan 2006 local revenue tumaas ng 21%

Koronadal City (11 October) -- Tumaas ng 21% ang revenue collection ng Pamahalaang Panglungsod ng Kidapawan sa taong 2006, ayon sa ulat ng lokal na tanggapan ng Commission on Audit.

Ang pagtaas ng local revenues ng Kidapawan City ay bunga ng improved financial management dala ng malawakang tax collection campaign at ang pagpasok ng mga bagong investments sa lungsod.

Ayon sa COA, ang local revenue ng Kidapawan City sa taong 2006 ay umabot sa mahigit PhP425 million at tumaas ng PhP90 million mula sa PhP335 million noong 2005. Dahil dito, ang lungsod ay napabilang sa mga tinaguriang "most improved cities" sa buong bansa.

Inihayag naman ni Kidapawan City mayor Rodolfo Gantuangco na malaki ang maitutulong ng pagtaas ng revenue collection ng lungsod lalo na sa pag-sustain ng operasyon nito, pagpapatupad ng mga programa at pagbibigay ng mga basic services sa mga residente. (ac agad PIA 12) [top]
