Tagalog News: 15 Filipino bomb technicians nagtapos ng EIC Course

Koronadal City (25 October) -- Labinglimang (15) Filipino bomb technicians ng Philippine National Police (PNP) at Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang nagtapos kamakailan ng Explosive Incident Countermeasures (EIC) Course na itinalaga ng U.S. Department of State sa Headquarters ng Police Regional Office sa Tambler, General Santos City.

Sa kanilang pagsasanay, itinuro sa mga ito ang assessment, neutralization at safe disposition ng manucfactured at improvised explosive devices at mga kagamitan na makakatulong sa mga ito na makilala ang ano mang uri ng pangpasabog at maisagawa ang tamang pamamaraan upang maiwasan ang ano mang pinsalang maaaring idulot nito.

Ang Explosive Incident Countermeasures Course ay ilan lamang sa kursong ibinahagi sa pamahalaan sa pamamagitan ng State Department's Anti-terrorism Assistance Program (ATA) kung saan ipinapakita lamang nito ang matatag na samahan ng Pilipinas at United States sa pagpuksa ng terorismo.
