Tagalog News: Pagseguro sa kaligtasan ng mamamayan ipinag-utos ng Pangulo

Manila (22 November) -- Upang maseguro ang kaligtasan ng mamamayan at maiwasan ang anu mang pinsalang dulot ng bagyong "Mina", ipinag-utos ni Pangulong Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo kay National Disaster Coordinating Council (NDCC) Deputy Administrator Dr. Anthony Golez ang agarang paglipat ng mga residente ng lalawigan ng Albay lalung-lalo na yaong mga nakatira sa bulubunduking bahagi ng nasabing lugar.

Ito ay upang maseguro ang kaligtasan ng mamamayan na maaaring maapektuhan ng landslides, mudslides, lahar flow at iba pang posibleng pinsalang maidulot ng nasabing bagyo na ngayon ay kasalukuyang nananalasa sa lalawigan ng Albay.

Ayon sa ulat ng Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical at Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), ang bagyong "Mina" ay nananalanta sa lalawigan ng Bicol at inaasahang maging ganap na super typhoon habang ito ay patungo sa Catanduanes.

Sineguro naman ni Golez sa publiko na walang dapat ikabahala ang mga mamamayan dahil kasalukuyan pa ring naka alerto ang grupo ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at mga concerned agencies para sa madaliang pagresponde at agarang paglipat ng iba pang mga residente sa masligtas na lugar upang maseguro ang kaligtasan ng mamamayan.
