Tagalog News: PGMA bumalik ng Pilipinas upang personal na pangunahan ang relief operations sa mga nasalanta ng bagyong "Lando"

Manila (22 November) -- Napaaga ang pag-uwi ni Pangulong Gloria Macapagal Arroyo pabalik ng Pilipinas mula sa apat na araw na 13th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit sa Singapore kasunod ng hagupit ng bagyong "Lando" sa iba't ibang bahagi ng bansa.

Ang Pangulo ay nakatakdang umuwi ngayong araw (ika 22 ng Nobyembre), ngunit dala ng kanyang pag-aalala, bumalik ng bansa ang Pangulo kahapon (Nov21) upang personal na pangunahan ang relief operations sa mga nasalanta ng bagyo at upang personal na makita ang mga typhoon-affected areas sa ilang bahagi ng Bicol, Visayas at Mindanao.

Inihayag naman ni Foreign Affairs Assistant Secretary Louie Cruz na sa kabila ng maagang pag-balik ng Pangulo sa bansa, inaasahang dadaluhan ni Foreign Affairs Secretary Alberto Romulo ang ilang natitirang pagpupulong tulad ng ASEAN-European Union Meeting na nakatakda ngayong araw.
