DENR XII's new RED to push for continued protection of environment

Koronadal City, (3 February) -- Environment and Natural Resources XII newly-installed OIC Regional Executive Director Raquil-Ali M. Lucman assured to push through plans and programs for the protection of Mother Earth for the benefit of the people.
This he said in simple turnover rites held over the weekend at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region XII, this city.
Outgoing Regional Executive Director (RED) Jim O. Sampulna handed over the banner of DENR XII symbolizing the turn-over of personnel and properties to his successor.
"It's my privilege to turn over 846 regular, strong and proud personnel of Region XII," said Director Sampulna.
Director Sampulna, now assigned in DENR XI in Davao City, was accompanied by his Regional Technical Directors namely: RTD for Forest Management Service Hardinado V. Patnugot, Jr., RTD for Ecosystems Research and Development Bonifacio A. Apura, OIC-RTD for Lands Management Felix S. Alicer and OIC-Regional Technical Director for Protected Areas, Wildlife, and Coastal Zone Management Emmanuel E. Isip., Dr. Romeo M. Basada, Director of the then Southern Mindanao Integrated Coastal Zone Management Project, also joined the group.
In his message of acceptance, Director Lucman said that he will continue the good examples that have been started by his predecessor. "I am glad to be given the chance to be reunited with my co-workers in Region XII," Director Lucman said.
The ceremony held at the agency's Lands Management Service was witnessed by DENR officials and employees from the regional and field offices and some members of the media.
