PMAP Davao gears up for strategic workforce planning seminar

Davao City (5 February) -- The People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP), Davao Chapter, is gearing up for a learning session on "Strategic Workforce Planning Amidst Challenging Times."

The session will be held on Friday, February 13, 2009 at the Garden Oases Restaurant, Porras St., Davao City. Ms. Grace Abella-Zata, FPM, national president of PMAP and a practicing HR consultant in Metro Manila, will be the resource person for this very timely and informative one-day public seminar.

In turbulent times, companies should be able to right size, to maximize productivity and profitability, while maintaining competitive edge.

PMAP is the premier organization of Human Resource professionals in the country, which aims to assist business establishments and other organizations in their people management practices by offering lectures, technical sessions, and professional skills development thru different forums, symposia, and general meetings.

Its Davao Chapter, under the leadership of Chapter President Juni Jane B. Lee of Davao Light, now has 140 corporate and individual members. They meet once a month to listen to resource speakers on updates and the latest trends in human resource management practices.
