Zambo CHO serves 600 Manicahan folks in free clinic
Zamboanga City (9 February) -- Physicians and workers from the City Health Office were deployed to barangay Manicahan for the conduct of an outreach mission.
The free clinic in Manicahan was conducted in support of the city's drive to bring quality health and medical services to Zamboangueños.
Droves of people from Manicahan and neighboring barangays swarmed to the barangay's health center to avail of the free health and medical services.
City Health Officer Rodelin Agbulos shared that the Manicahan Free Clinic, which is part of CHO's "Alay sa Barangay" program, was able to serve approximately 600 patients.
The free clinic is a joint undertaking of the City Health Office and the Zamboanga City Lion's Club.
Dr. Agbulos further disclosed that three other such clinics will be conducted in three other barangays, namely, Tumaga (February 13), Sangali (February 20) and Taluksangay. (CIO/PIA ZC) [top]
