Search for 2009 outstanding public officials and employees opened for nominations

Roxas City (13 February) -- Nominations on the 2009 Search for 2009 Outstanding Public Officials and Employees are now being accepted at the various Civil Service Commission (CSC) offices nationwide or Honor Awards Program (HAP) Secretariat in Diliman, Quezon City.

This was announced by CSC to commence the annual nationwide search which recognizes exemplary individuals and groups in government with the prestigious Presidential Lingkod Bayan, Dangal ng Bayan and Pagasa Awards.

HAP is in line with with the Commission's advocacy of promoting a culture of excellence and of recognizing and rewarding men and women either for outstanding performance, contribution and achievements or for consistent manifestation of exemplary ethical behavior in the public service.

"Public servants are enjoined to participate actively by submitting nominations to this prestigious Search. Deadline for submission of nominations is on March 31, 2009," said a CSC website announcement.
