CSC extends deadline for filing of applications for career service exam

Tacloban City (February 15) -- In response to the numerous request from the public, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Regional Office No. 8 informed that the deadline for filing of the applications for the March 29 Career Service Examination Paper and Pencil Test for Professional and Sub-professional is extended until February 16, 2009.

CSC advised concerned parties who want to take said examination, which has a fee of P350.00, to submit their applications at the CSC Regional Office, Government Center, Candahug, Palo, Leyte or in any CS Field Offices.

CSC requirements for taking said examinations are : one valid identification card with photo and signature, like postal ID, passport, school ID, office ID, or driver's license; photo copy of the valid Identification Card; and 4 pcs. 1 " x 2" passport size ID pictures with nametag and with white background. Digitally enhanced or computer generated pictures are not accepted.

Application forms are available at the CSC Regional Office and in any other CSC Field Office.
