DPWH gears for improvement of NVizcaya roads and bridges
Bagabag, Nueva Vizcaya (17 February) -- More roads and bridges are lined up for improvement by the government through the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) here.
Engineer Ronald Reyes, district engineer of DPWH main office said P154.61 million has been allotted for various roads and bridges improvement, rehabilitation, reconstruction and upgrading in the towns of Bambang, Bayombong, Diadi, Kasibu, Solano and this town.
He said the projects which are lined up for implementation under their 2009 Pump Primming Program are all set for public bidding in February 26 this year.
These projects are the P14.70 million concreting of the.864 kilometer San Fernando-Labni road, rehabilitation, reconstruction and upgrading of 1.15 kilometer damaged roads in barangays Almaguer North and Indiana section with P19.60 million allocation for each project and the P20 million concreting of 1.176 kilometer Labni-Rosario road section in Bambang town which falls under the Bambang-Kasibu-Solano road.
Other lined up projects are the improvement, reconstruction and upgrading of the 1.15 kilometer damaged paved road along the Balete-Namamparan section and Nagsabaran-Balete section in Diadi town with P19.60 million fund for each project and the.22 kilometer rehabilitation, reconstruction and upgrading of.22 kilometer damaged paved road along Magsaysay section in Bayombong town with P3.60 million funding, all falls under the Daang Maharlika road.
The 4.76 kilometer access road for the Bagabag airport is also set for improvement with the allocation of P36.71 million. (PIA NVizcaya) [top]
