General Santos City (18 February) -- Police nabbed a notorious drug pusher in Central Mindanao in a raid led by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PDEA-ARMM).

The suspect named Jun Bito, 47, who resides in barangay Tacuma, Parang, Maguindanao, was cornered in his safehouse.

PDEA-ARMM Regional Director Chief Inspector Maldam Mucaram said Bito was among those listed in the police order of battle and was under surveillance for a long time now.

ARMM Governor Datu Zaldy Ampatuan commended the government authorities in their efforts to curb illegal drug trade operations in his area.
