Tagalog News: Kaso ng malaria sa Sultan Kudarat bumaba

Koronadal City (20 February) -- Bumaba nang husto ang kaso ng Malaria sa Sultan Kudarat.

Ito ang masayang ibinunyag ng tanggapan ng Provincial Health Office (PHO) matapos ang pagpapaigting sa mga programang pangkalusugan ni Governor Teng Mangudadatu.

Ayon kay PHO Statistician Margaret Ducusin, 256 lamang na kaso ng malaria ang naitala sa lalawigan para sa buong taon ng 2008.

Batay sa talaan ng PHO, 1,473 ang ibanaba ng malaria cases sa Sultan Kudarat mula sa 1,729 noong 2003 hanggang 256 noong 2008.

Ang patuloy na pagbaba ng naturang sakit na dala ng kagat ng lamok ay sanhi ng pagpapatuloy ng mga foreign-assisted programs at ang pagpapanatili ng 4 o'clock habit na ipinapatupad ng mga health concern agencies at sa pakikiisa na rin ng buong mamamayan ng Sultan Kudarat.
