Isabela Rotary Club to conduct cleft palate operation
Cauayan City, Isabela (23 February) -- The Rotary Club of Cauayan City will conduct cleft plate minor operations for poor patients of the city.
Club President Charlie Alejandro said their organization will conduct the operation on March 9-11, 2009 for interested patients in the province with in-born palate deformities.
"The minor operation is free for all interested patients however a minimal fee will be charged during the pre-screening procedure," Alejandro said.
One of the Rotary's objective is serving the people by way of medical and dental missions dubbed as "Operation Smile" for cleft palate patients not only in this city but in the whole of Isabela.
The operation will be conducted at the Cauayan City District Hospital with the medical team of the rotary to conduct the operation.
Rotary Club of Cauayan President Charlie Alejandro said pre-screening will be on March 4, 2009 at the Cauayan City District Hospital, Isabela Provincial Hospital in Ilagan, Cauayan City Health Office and in Bucag's Hospital here in Cauayan City. (PIA Isabela) [top]
