Isabela solon wants to build school dormitories for poor students
Ilagan, Isabela (23 February) -- Congressman Rodito Albano III of the 1st District of Isabela proposed to build school dormitories in state colleges and universities in the country for free intended for poor students who cannot afford to pay boarding houses.
He said that he plans to build such structure in Isabela and will raise the idea to his colleagues in congress to accommodate poor students during their tenure of studies in state colleges or universities they are enrolled.
Aside from the scholarship grants that he is offering to poor students since he became congressman of the province for two consecutive terms, he has now in mind to build dormitories for college students not only in his district but also in the other three districts of Isabela where the state colleges and universities are located.
Albano is also planning to share his idea of building dormitories to state colleges and universities to his fellow congressmen in order to get their support to his proposal purposely to craft a bill for the purpose so that it can be implemented nationwide.
Congressman Albano is confident that his plan will be realized in his province when enough funds will be available. (PIA Isabela) [top]
