Napolcom Commissioner commends PNP Region 2 officials
Tuguegarao City (1 June) -- The exemplary efforts of the officers and members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Regional Command 2 were hailed as Commissioner Eduardo U. Escueta, of the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM), commended them for their significant accomplishments.
Escueta said it is his first time to visit the region purposely to determine the status of the police officers of region 2 in the performance of their duties and responsibilities and to inform them on the on-going application of PNP entrance and promotional examinations.
Escueta said he was amazed and surprised with the accomplishments of PNP Recom 2 presented to him in a closed-door briefing.
"I was really surprised with the accomplishments of the PNP Region 2 judging from the limited resources and distance that the region suffers and because of that I commend the leadership of this region," Escueta said.
He further mentioned that, as compared with other regions, PNP Region 2 has gone far and there are many initiatives and accomplishments that other regions may imitate for positive effect to the community.
"The people of the region should be thankful for having outstanding PNP Officials that I also consider as the crop of officers who are really dedicated and hardworking," Escueta added.
Escueta pointed in his statements the significant accomplishments of the PNP 2 in the maintenance of peace and order that resulted into minimal number of criminalities in the region and in neutralizing some illegal activities. (Ver/PIA-Cagayan) [top]
