NVizcaya serves 900 license applicants
Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya (4 June) -- The provincial government recently served at least 900 applicants for professional licenses from May 20 to 21, provincial officials said.
Ma. Carla Lucia Torralba, provincial human resource management officer (PHRMO) said the licensing service was conducted in collaboration with the Philippine Regulatory Commission(PRC at the PHRM office within the capitol compound.
"This is a yearly activity to bring licensing services closer to our constituents, thereby unloading them financial difficulties in renewing their professional licenses in Metro Manila," she said.
The licensing project is part of the activities lined-up during the 1st grand "Ammungan" festival in the province highlighting the 170th Founding Anniversary of Nueva Vizcaya.
"Ammungan" which means gathering of indigenous tribes seeks to unite indigenous communities and other settlers in Nueva Vizcaya and to promote their rich cultural heritage and traditions through the 'Wat-wat"(meat sharing) or food festival featuring native dishes and exotic foods.
