Cebuano News: PGMA nagtudlo kang aktor Cesar Montano isip special envoy

Manila (5 June) -- Si Cesar Montano usa na karon ka Presidential Envoy for Film and Digital Cinema, siya makigtambayayong sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Tourism (DOT), Trade and Industry (DTI), ug Departamento sa Enerhiya (DOE) sa paghimo ug mga tukmang istratehiya ug mga kalihukan nga makapatuboy sa pagmanggad sa mga pelikula ginama sa Pilipinas.

Mag-una usab siya sa pagpalihok sa pribadong sektor sa Philippine Cinema promotion.

Bisan wala siya'y madawat nga suweldo gikan sa Deparment of Foreign Affairs, si Montano pagahatagan sa diplomatic status ug pagahatagan usab ug diplomatic passport alang sa misyon sa gawas sa nasud.

Ang iyang appointment gipirmahan ni Presidente Arroyo niadtong Mayo 19 ning tuig.

Si Montano nahimong usa ka kandidato ubos sa partidong administrasyon sa milabay'ng eleksyon. (PIA9-Pagadian) [top]
