TF North Cotabato conducts Medical Mission
Koronadal City (8 January) -- Thousands of Cotabato residents benefited from the outreach program of the Task Force North Cotabato (TFNC).
TFNC in coordination with various Local Government Units (LGUs), Non Government Organization (NGOs) and Medical Team conducted a civic action in the different municipalities of North Cotabato last month and still continue the outreach activity this month of June 2009.
According to Colonel Edwin O. Canete (GSC) Philippine Army (PA), Deputy Commander of Task Force North Cotabato based in Kidapawan City when interviewed by Philippine Information Agency 12, the aim of the civic action is to provide medical and dental services and it continues to serve the people of North Cotabato especially the less fortunate.
TFNC together with Mayor Rodolfo Gantuangco of Kidapawan City, volunteer doctors, nurses and members of the Rotary Club of Kidapawan city led by Atty. Jonah Denaque also provided free legal services aside from medical and dental assistance, Canete further disclosed.
Five thousand four hundred fifty five (5,455) individuals are the beneficiaries of the said outreach program including medical and dental patient and operation tuli in the municipalities of Arakan, Magpet, Makilala, M'lang, Antipas, President Roxas; Brgy.
