Oro's People-to-People Program to serve barangay Carmen June 10
Cagayan de Oro City (9 June) -- City Mayor Constantino "Tinnex G. Jaraula today (June 9) urged all residents at Zone 10 in barangay Carmen this city to avail of the city government's free basic services during the People to People Program (PPP) to be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Zone 10, Carmen Covered Court.
As usual, residents of the area could avail of various services during the outreach program such as medical consultation and free medicines; dental and circumcision for children; agricultural and veterinary services; birth registration and mass wedding for unwed couples and free haircut.
Other services include free legal assistance; nutritional feeding; distribution of rice and assorted goods; processing of business, building and electrical permits; business tax payments and issuance of cedula; real property verification and assessment; among others.
Vice Mayor Vicente Y. Emano, members of the City Council, department heads and chiefs of office at City Hall are expected to join with Mayor Jaraula during the People to People Program- a flagship community outreach program that aims to bring the city government closer to the people by bringing its basic services right on their doorsteps.
