Tagalog News: Mas marami pang pamumuhunan, ilalagak ng British firms sa bansa

Dagupan City (11 Hunyo) -- Hindi hadlang ang impact ng pandaigdigang krisis pang-ekonomiya sa mas maraming kumpanyang Briton na nagagalak na maglagak ng pamumuhunan sa Pilipinas partikular na sa business process outsourcing (BPO), enerhiya at sa sector ng minahan.

Nabatid ito sa pakikipagpanayam kay British Ambassasdor to the Philippines Peter Beckingham noong nakaraang paglunsad ng Philippine Learning Centre for Trade and Investment Place (PLACE).

Sinabi ni Beckingham na inaasahan nilang palaguin ang mga nabanggit na sector sa susunod na mga taon kung saan sakop nito ang pamumuhunan at pagpaparami ng mga ito.

Dagdag pa niya na sa Pilipinas magiging matagumpay ang pag-operate ng British firms.

Isa sa pinakamalaking exporter ng transport equipment, retail trade goods at pharmaceutical products ang United Kingdom. Sa kabilang banda, nag-iimport din ang Britanya ng mga damit, baked food products, coconut oil at coconut products, aniya. (PIA Pangasinan) [top]
