Tagalog News: Hinihinalaang malaria endemic ang 5 barangay ng Kabacan

Koronadal City (19 June) -- Pinaghihinalaang Malaria endemic ang mahigit limang (5) barangay ng bayan ng Kabacan, Cotabato.

Ito ang inihayag ni Provincial Project coordinator Ma. Eloy Dominiceta habang tinutukoy nito ang mga kaso ng Malaria sa mga barangay ng Pisan, Tamped, Simbuhay, Nangaan at Simone, simula pa noong buwan ng Pebrero hanggang buwan ng Marso ng taong kasalukuyan.

Anya umabot na umano sa sampung kaso ng Malaria ang naitala sa Sitio Kweba sa barangay. Pisan, habang nitong buwan ng Mayo ay naitala din ang tatlong kaso sa barangay Nangaan.

Inihayag din ni Dominiceta na libre ang tulong at mga gamot mula sa mga Municipal Health Units sa buong lalawigan at nagsasagawa rin umano sila ng mass blood survey upang matukoy kung positibo ang isang indibidwal sa Malaria sa pamamagitan ng blood smear. (PIA 12) [top]
