Tagalog News: Mahigit 34,000 mag-aaral hindi pa nakapagpa-enroll, ayon sa DepEd Cotabato

Koronadal City (19 June) -- Inihayag ng pamunuan ng DepEd Cotabato Division Office na mayroon pang umaabot sa mahigit 34,507 na mga mag-aaral sa elementary at high school ang hindi pa nakapag-enrol ngayong pasukan na nagsimula noon pang June 1, 2009.

Sa isang panayam, inihayag ni DepEd Cotabato Division Planning Officer II Felicitas Jayag na umaabot pa lamang sa 147,249 ang naitalang nagpa-enrol sa elementarya ngayong pasukan kumpara sa 179,109 na kabuuang enrollees ng division noong nakaraang taon.

Bumaba din umano sa mahigit dalawang libo ang hindi pa nakapagpapatala para sa mga public high schools sa buong division.

Nakapagtala ng pinakamaraming bilang ng hindi na nakapag-enrol ang bayan ng Pikit, habang ang bayan naman ng M'lang ang kakaunti lamang ang hindi pa makapag-enrol sa elementary level.

Idinagdag pa ni Jayag na ang bayan ng Midsayap ang may pinakamaraming estudyanteng nagpatala ngayong pasukan para sa secondary level at ang bayan naman ng Antipas ang may pinakamaliit na enrolees. (PIA 12) [top]
