Feature: KALAHI-CIDSS Makamasang Tugon Project, making a difference

by Lorry V. Gabule

Lanao Del Norte (19 June) -- Salvador Mayor Raida L. Tawantawan expressed how the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Service (KALAHI-CIDSS) transformed some 18 villages in the municipality through the implementation of the Makamasang Tugon (MT) Project.

The chief executive recognized the project as President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's flagship for poverty alleviation.

The municipality availed of the project since January 2009 and completed the 18 sub-projects in May, this year.
