Tagalog News: DOH pinayuhan ang mamamayang Pilipino na kumain ng prutas at gulay

Pinayuhan ng Malacaņang at ng Department of Health (DOH) ang mga mamamayang Pilipino na kumain ng prutas at gulay bilang panglaban sa Influenza A(H1N1) at iba pang communicable diseases.

Hinikayat din ni Deputy Presidential Spokesman for Economic Affairs Gary Olivar at Director Asuncion Anden ng Department of Health (DOH) ang mga Pilipino na kumain ng saging, green leafy vegetables gaya ng saluyot (spinach) at ampalaya (bittergourd).

Ayon kay Anden ang prutas at gulay umano ay magbibigay ng iba't-ibang bitamina at minerals sa katawan.

Ang pagkain umano ng maraming prutas at gulay ay magseseguro ng masiglang pangangatawan at magkakaroon pa ng panlaban sa sakit na cancer at coronary heart diseases. Inirerekomenda din sa mga kabataan ang pagkain ng limang prutas at gulay kada araw.

Ayon pa kay Anden, mainam din umano para sa publiko na uminom ng mga gamot na mayroong vitamins A, C, E at Zinc dahil ito umano ang magandang panglaban sa mga communicable diseases.

Ayon sa mga Food experts ang saging umano ay mas masustansiya pa kaysa sa apple dahil ayon sa mga researchers ang saging ay nagbibigay ng mataas na serotonin at maramin din umano itong Vitamin C. (KAlbay/PIA 12) [top]
