Tagalog News: Pagpapatupad ng mga mabisang hakbang laban sa AH1N1 ipinag-utos ng Pangulo sa DOH

Manila (June 24) -- Muling binigyang-diin ng Pangulong Arroyo ang kanyang kautusan sa Department of Health (DOH) at ilang ahensya ng pamahalaan na pa-igtingin pa ang pagpapatupad ng mga posibleng hakbang upang protektahan ang mga mamamayan laban sa influenza AH1N1 virus.

Ito'y matapos ipa-abot ni Press Secretary Cerge Remonde sa Pangulo ang AH1N1-related death ng isang 49-taong gulang na babae sa Metro Manila.

Ayon kay Remonde, sa ulat ng DOH, ang pasyente ay namatay dahil sa sakit na "congestive heart failure secondary to acute myocardial infarction" at ilan pang mga komplikasyon kabilang na dito ang pagiging positibo sa AH1N1.

Kaugnay nito, matindi ang panawagan ng Pangulo sa mga public at private sectors upang magka-isa at magtulungan upang sigurihin ang kalusugan ng mga mamamayan laban sa AH1N1 virus. (Abbenal/PIA 12) [top]
