SSS Cauayan branch asks SP Isabela for lot donation
Cauayan City, Isabela (25 June) -- The Social Security System (SSS) Cauayan City branch is planning to expand its services and operations to the entire province and wanted to establish its own building within the premises of the provincial capitol compound.
SSS Cauayan City Branch Manager Estrella Aragon has forwarded a request letter to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan for a 1,000 square meter lot within the premises of the provincial capitol to be donated by the provincial government.
Aragon said the plan of SSS in expanding its operation in Ilagan is to serve the more than 7,500 SSS members and employers in the northern part of the province.
The Social Security System is presently renting its office in Cauayan City and the SSS management is planning to construct its own building particularly at the heart of Isabela to cater to all SSS members of the province.
The Sangguniang Panlalawigan is still studying the request through the committee on housing and land use classification chaired by Sanguniang Panlalawigan Member Noel Binag.
The SSS is optimistic that their request will be given preferential attention and affirmation by the Sanguninang Panlalawigan. (PIA Isabela) [top]
