DAR to inspect infra projects
Benito Soliven, Isabela (25 June) -- A team from the Department of Agrarian Reform, Manila office is scheduled t to visit this town to assess the extent of infrastructure projects that are implemented and funded under the agency's Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP).
The infra projects that was approved for implementation since last year in this town was scheduled to be evaluated by the DAR officials which is a regular procedure of the agency.
Mayor Benjamin Sanglay said their town is so lucky to have been chosen by DAR for prioritizing Benito Soliven to benefit from DAR's Farm-to-Market Roads (FMRs), irrigation, and provision of financial assistance to local cooperative here.
The agrarian reform department has allotted P20 million for the projects.
Mayor Sanglay said the local government has allotted a counterpart fund for the projects' implementation that is nearing completion. (PIA Isabela) [top]
